The natural development of mechatronics in Automotive is Autonomous Driving, that will allow to drastically reduce the number of car accidents, exploiting the tire performance beyond the limits set by the human control.
In 2015 Danisi Engineering and a group of Academics from the University of Florence set up Meccanica 42, a company focused on the development of new mechatronic devices for the automotive industry, from Vehicle Dynamics Controls up to Hardware and Human in the Loop test benches.
