“Bridging the gap between testing and simulation”.
Danisi Engineering welcome 2017 edition of International VI-Grade Users Conference “Bridging the gap between testing and simulation”. On May 9th, 2017 from 4pm to 11pm the Ice Breaker event was hosted at Advanced Vehicle Dynamics Center in Danisi Engineering premises – Nichelino (Torino). The event provided the opportunity to discover the range of driving and steering simulation solutions and services, (from vehicle dynamics to NVH, from ride to ADAS). More than 180 people took part at the event, that started with a welcome speech from Giacomo Danisi (CEO @ Danisi Engineering), Marco Fainello (CTO @ Danisi Engineering) and Guido Bairati (Managing director @ VI-Grade). People were then divided in groups and were guided for a tour at the Advanced Vehicle Dynamics Center, that included a presentation of each technology area followed by a short session of Question & Answer. During the event, Danisi Engineering revealed as a world premiere the EPS-in-the-loop test bench (EPSiL), designed to fit a physical steering system (from the steering wheel to the suspensions, including the control unit) in the loop of a full vehicle simulation. This solution allows subjective and objective evaluation before open road tests with a real car prototype, trialing and fault injection testing of new control systems in a safe environment, more accurate virtual tuning process and development of an EPS system and much more.
