When Pininfarina decided to produce the Citroen Osee prototype, the biggest problem was that Citroen didn’t have such a platform (mid-engine, longitudinal) in the product line. Danisi Engineering made, starting from the overall dimensions and the 6 cyl.- 3.0 litres Citroen’s engine, the engineering of a new longitudinal power-train (using a ZF automatic gearbox) and a completely new rolling chassis, based on a specific steel space-frame. The full working rolling chassis was then made in our facility and delivered in less then 4 months.
